Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG)

A Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant is a federally funded college administered grant program. SEOG funds are awarded to eligible undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens, eligible non-citizens or permanent residents who have not yet earned an undergraduate degree. Your award is based on financial need and is awarded first to those students who have maximum Pell Grant awards and have met the CalArts priority deadline. This grant may be used for any educational cost. The amount of your award may depend on your level of need and the funds available. You can apply for this grant by completing the FAFSA by the priority deadline and establishing need. Your grant can be renewed until you have earned your first undergraduate degree when funds are available. You must complete the FAFSA and establish need each year.
