Shirley Tse’s sculptures, installation and photographs has been included in numerous museum exhibitions worldwide, among them are The Biennale of Sydney 2002, Bienal Ceara America, Brazil 2002, Kaohshiung Museum of Fine Arts, Taiwan, Art Gallery of Ontario, Canada, Museum of Modern Art,
Bologna, Italy, San Francsico Museum of Modern Art, New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, New York, and Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, New Zealand.
One-person exhibition venues include Shoshana Wayne Gallery, Santa Monica, Murray Guy, New York, Perugi Arte Contemporanea, Pardova, Italy, Pomoma
College Museum of Art, Claremont, and Para/Site, Hong Kong.
In 2002 Tse was commissioned by Capp Street Project, San Francsico for a solo installation exhibition. Other artist-in-residency include the Skowhegan School of Art, Maine(1995), Banff Center for the Arts, Alberta, Canada (1998), and Vietnam Art Foundation (2005).
Recent publications include Sculpture Today by Phaidon (2007), and grants include the 2008-09 Individual Artist Fellowship 2008-2009, City of Los
Angeles, CA (COLA).
She has been a visiting artist at Yale School of Art, Vermont College, Claremont Graduate Univeristy, California College of the Arts and Northwestern University.
