Judy Fiskin has presented solo exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Asher-Faure in Los Angeles, and Curt Marcus and Castelli Photographs in New York. In 2006 she was part of a group show at the Pompidou Center, Paris, France, "Los Angeles 1955-1985: Birth of an Artistic Capital". She compiled and edited the journals of Richard Neutra and was co-director of Womanspace Gallery. Her work has been published in the Paris Review, Arts and Architecture and Art & Design among many other publications. Her work also has been shown at museums and galleries around the world. In 2004, Ms. Fiskin's documentary film "50 Ways to Set the Table" was screened at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Her videotape Diary of a Midlife Crisis was shown internationally and won the Silver Spire award at the San Francisco Film Festival. Her video My Getty Center was shown at the J. Paul Getty Museum in 1999. Also in the Los Angeles area, Ms. Fiskin had a video installation for LACMALab at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on view from November 2001 to August 2002.
Her short Super-8 film "The End of Photography" is currently on view at the Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival 2007. She received her master’s degree in art history from UCLA.
