To support CalArts student and alumni professional development, our office produces career-related programming throughout the year.  Dates for 2007-2008 programming will be available soon.

     Brown Bag Lunch Series

This series provides members of the CalArts community with access to artists in multiple disciplines who offer their personal perspective on the demands and rewards of a professional life in the arts.  Last year's speakers included Krista Parkinson, Ben Wynn, Jeremy Zuckerman, Brian Konietzko and Mike Di Martino.

     Alumni Workshop Series

Karen Atkinson, President and Founder of GYST will direct a three-part workshop series on May 31, June 14 and July 12, 2008 to help get alumni careers on track. For more information, click here.

Alumni who are searching for new professional opportunities can access three different online resources:

• CalArts Career Connection allows alumni to search listings, post job openings that are available in their companies or organizations, or post a resume for prospective employers.

• CalArts Office of Student Affairs maintains a job bank that is available to current students and alumni.

• Also, alumni can link to a range of resources from the CalArts Alumni Links page.
